Audio function in BURY hands-free car kits

The hands-free mode and thus the voice output of the PDA HP iPAQ 6510/-15 in BURY hands-free car kits is generally provided by the CarKit software (to be downloaded from the Internet: cf. www.iplug.de). 

The voice output of navigation software installed on the PDA is not supported by the hands-free car kit. At present, no software is available emitting corresponding signals which can be processed by the CarKit software.

An exception is the navigation software NCK 5.2 from NAVIGON which (according to the manufacturer) is said to contain from the middle of July 2006 the equipment for selecting the CarKit software.
