The latest addition to Cobra’s range of solutions for scooters and motorcycles is HelloBiker by Spyball. HelloBiker is a combined Intercom and Handsfree with Bluetooth technology, allowing completely wireless communication between rider and pillion as well as “both hands on the handlebar” when receiving a phone-call to your cellular phone. The result is a control unit, smaller than a normal packet of cigarettes, which can easily be attached to the rear of almost any type of helmet.
A head-set, with two different types of microphones for both full and open-face helmets, is included. And maybe best of all: since many bikers today own more than one helmet,
HelloBiker also offers a practical way of fitting the same control unit to another helmet, excluding the expense of a new one. With every HelloBiker a second helmet attachment clip is actually included, with the same trouble-free fitting as the first clip. When the phone-call is accepted the conversation between rider and pillion actually mutes automatically and will then be re-established at the end of the phone-call.
The preference for high technology is clear also in the choice of power supply. HelloBiker uses a rechargeable Varta Lithium-Polymer battery, integrated in the control unit, which gives a constant talk time of up to 10 to 12 hours. HelloBiker is qualified (Bluetooth ID number B012082) and homologated for the European Union, Norway, Switzerland, Iceland, Canada and the United States.
The HelloBiker electronics are also available as an OE version, to be integrated in any type of helmet.
