With a fascia slightly bigger than DIN size, upon the front of a regular DIN unit, the cool looking retro styled Blue Laser SBL0104MP4 DVD deck has it all including dedicated iPOD control. With a crisp 3.6in 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio screen built right into the front, it’s small but perfectly formed.
The high brightness screen can be used to view DVD or VCD films as well as show pictures and play MP3 music from iPOD, SD/MMC type digital storage cards or the mini USB input with a convenient front connection. The unit simply bristles with possibilities. It can read and decode popular video and surround sound formats as well as decoding MP3 files from any input.
You get a powerful MOSFET 4x55 watt internal amplifier as well as RCA outputs to feed amplifiers for each corner of the car as well as a subwoofer output in stereo. There is an extra audio visual input for use with say, a games console or other portable A/V device. If you are an iPOD user, you can simply connect to the dedicated input and call up your material using the smart retro styled rotary controller and neatly laid out push button array on the motorised front panel, which can be angled to best suit the viewers.
